Producing high-tech products is an important field of Simco Song Da in line with the company's new development strategy. The company has strategic cooperation with Smarttech Vietnam Technology Joint Stock Company and major technology groups in the world to research, develop and manufacture hightech products in Vietnam. The company develops two areas:
1. Production & Distribution of Hi-Tech Products for Smart Home.
The company aims to be completely autonomous in the production of hi-tech products for smart-homes such as smart electrical cabinets, TVs, smart water heaters, air conditioners, ventilation systems, air filters, smart locks, kitchen appliances (dishwasher, multi-function ultrasonic sink, induction cooker, oven ect). In which, a number of products such as smart door locks (Smarttech brand), kitchen equipment (Italy Bell brand) have been distributed in the market since the beginning of the third quarter of 2022. It is expected that smart air conditioners, tablets and smart electrical cabinets will start to launch in the fourth quarter of 2022. Smart ventilator products for the medical industry are also being licensed and tested, and expected to be manufactured and distributed from 2023.
The products are being manufactured and distributed through Karotech Group Joint Stock Company (a subsidiary of Simco Song Da).
The above technology products are completely researched and developed by Smarttech Vietnam, the product of Vietnamese people. The products are all integrated with the latest 4.0 technology researched and developed by a team of Vietnamese experts at home and abroad.
Karotech Group Joint Stock Company (a subsidiary of Simco Song Da) was established in early 2022 to create a distribution channel for high-tech products of Smarttech-Simco and its partners. Although newly established, the company has inherited a distribution channel with over 3000 points of sale nationwide. 2. Manufacture of Electronic Products and Components.
Simco cooperates with major corporations in the world to manufacture electronic products and electronic components to supply corporations in Vietnam and around the world such as Samsung, LG...
At the end of 2021, Simco signed a cooperation agreement with a Korean partner with over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and supplying electronic components for Samsung, LG, SONY.... Currently, Samsung Vietnam needs to import INK PAD from Korea and China to produce mobile electronic devices in Vietnam. Simco's INK PAD factory for mobile devices has been built in Dinh Tram Industrial Park in Bac Giang by HXS VINA Technology Investment Joint Stock Company. The factory has a designed capacity of 400 tons of products per year, equivalent to about VND 800 billion in revenue. The factory has been approved as Vender 1 for Samsung Group and is expected to come into operation in the third quarter of 2022.
In early 2022, Simco and its strategic partner Smarttech Vietnam also signed cooperation agreements with large corporations from Taiwan (LASTING) and India (INDIC). It is expected that Simco will jointly build an electronic circuit board (PCB) factory with INDIC in Vietnam in 2023. INDIC is a large Indian corporation specializing in the production of PCB boards. Electronic circuits of India have production plants in India, Spain and are expected to be in the US from July 2022.

A factory for manufacturing high-tech computer products (computers, tablets, phones...) is also planned to be built in Vietnam in Hoa Lac High Industrial Park with LASTING Group - a big corporations from Taiwan with factories located in Taiwan and China with annual revenue of over 2 billion USD, specializing in OEM and ODM for major technology corporations in the world. The factory is expected to be built in Vietnam in 2023.
